Art World Video Series: Last Show at Armand Bartos features Warhol’s Soup Can

We went to Armand Bartos’ final exhibition before closing their doors to operate by appointment only. They chose to end on a high note with Andy Warhol’s soup can series following the artist’s role in transforming the Campbell’s Soup brand into an American icon. Limited edition prints and objects like an actual tin can were on view as were a few treasured relics.

We were invited to attend a panel discussion hosted by Sotheby’s and the Economist for south asian art experts. Rashid Rana, one of South Asia’s foremost contemporary artist, and Pooja Sood, Director of Khoj discussed the role of art today. Art World Video Series: AIPAD Photography Fair 2011

Heidi Lee Art Advisory visited the Association of International Photography Art Dealers (AIPAD) fair with more than 70 of the world’s leading fine art photography galleries showcasing museum-quality photographs and photo-based art, video and new media.

AIPAD is unique because its members have agreed to a Code of Ethics and to qualify for membership in AIPAD, a gallery or dealer must meet a number of criteria.

Art World Video Series – Inaugural Opening of The Artist Project

HLAA went to check out the inaugural Artist Project fair on March 17th, 2011. It is the first fair featuring only emerging artists. We felt is was a good attempt to give artists a platform outside the gallery system but energy was low.
