Global Art Market, Recommended Shows, Collecting Tips
Since the Sheba Medical Center’s first art auction and the Armory Show, HLAA has been full speed ahead. We just produced a second video series, The Art World, with live footage of art happenings around town to help keep you connected. We also visited a number of artist studios and lectures which we posted including, Chuck Close, Dustin Yellin and Anne Collier.

Frieze Art Fair, Hugo Boss-Guggenheim Prize and Collector’s Tips
The world-renowned Frieze Art Fair this year proved to be very strong and coincided with the Contemporary art auctions including Sotheby’s sale that realized a total of 22,955,250 GPB. The fair showed off a good mix of works by fledgling and professional artists from all over the world with galleries rushing to rehang works. Miami collector, Marty Margulies, said in an interview, “When I first came, Frieze was really wild now it’s turned into a really nice event. Prices are fair and it’s always possible to find something you want.”
